CLOSE-UP ON THE PYRENEES

The Pyrenees has been a favourite location of mine for photographic workshops and general natural history. I have spent most of my time on the French side around the Gavarnie region, which is one of the biggest attractions for photographers and tourists. It is a land of high peaks, snow-capped mountains and waterfalls. It has a rich flora and fauna with many butterflies, wildflowers and orchids.
