WILD ORCHIDS OF SICILY

Sicily is the largest of the Mediterranean Islands and steeped in archaeological history. It is separated from mainland Italy by the Straits of Messina. The Island also has a diverse range of scenery and of course, Mount Etna. Sicily also has an abundance of wildflowers and orchids. It is one of my favourite of all the Mediterranean islands for orchid photography with many interesting species.
