The Seabirds of the Saltee Islands

Lying some five kilometres off the County Wexford coast are the picturesque Saltee Islands. Great Saltee which is the larger of the two islands, is widely known as one of the most important seabird sanctuaries in Europe. In this publication renowned Natural History photographer Robert Thompson gives a brief account of their history followed by a portfolio of images taken on both islands during the last 25 years.
