TULLYDERMOT FALLS

These well-known falls are a popular location for photographers. Situated below the Cuilcagh Mountain the river provides several photographic opportunities in the surrounding landscape. The falls form part of the Claddagh River which is a tributary of the River Erne. It is a short walk to the falls from a small carpark. Being a river that flows over peat the brownish colour of the water, in this case, adds to the overall appearance of the final image.

To get a decent composition of the falls meant getting into the river Setup photographed on an iPhone.
